LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY IN AMAZING LOCATIONS

I am delighted to be running a varied selection of workshops, both in the Uk and further afield. Some of these are offered directly with myself and some are run inconjuction with my industry partners. They are suitable for any level of photographer but I do recommend a Basic Kit List. Generally this means a camera with the ability to work in manual settings and also ideally a tripod. Please read on to see an overview of the workshops which are currently available.

Photography workshops sessions are to enable you to take your photography further, ideal for those looking at coming away from the 'auto' settings of your camera, wanting to venture a little more towards manual or to simply enjoy a location. However if you are not quite there yet with camera confidence, there are a few modes on your camera that can really help you understand settings and help you to progress forward and a workshop will help to see images in a new light......

Iceland South Coast Explorer Winter Tour 2022/2023

There can be no more iconic a photographic destination than Iceland. This trip is based along the South coast of Iceland heading towards the East, we explore plenty of stunning photographic locations over 9 nights to make the most of each location. Small group numbers with 4x4 vehicles. Excellent hotels and Icelandic food but focused on the photography!

North Iceland 2022/2023

There can be no more iconic a photographic destination than Iceland. This trip is based in the North of Iceland, 8 nights to explore this stunning area in a small group with 4x4 vehicles.

Round the Island Boat Race - Isle of Wight - 2023

We will have the best seats in the house on our rib with its own skipper, to photograph the boats as they come past the most photogenic view of the Isle of Wight - The Needles. With these colourful boats passing the white cliffs and lighthouse we can position the rib in as many positions as possible, to allow everyone plenty of opportunity to photograph the stunning boats, the amazing views around us, and of course the crew operating the boats all of which make for some amazing photographs. Sadly 2020 was cancelled and 2021 is uncertain so i will be updating 2022 dates as soon as i know, stay in touch for further information.

Intimate Lofoten Feb 2022/2023

This sell out tour will be returning in 2021/2022 - The coastline here is as beautifully dramatic as anywhere on the planet. The beaches of Haukland, Utakleiv, Skagsanden are within half an hours drive of our base, along with numerous other stretches of unnamed coastline. Slightly further afield are the charming villages of Reine and Hamnøy, two of the most idyllic coastal locations one could ever imagine. Far above the Arctic Circle is also a great place to see and photograph the Northern Lights, we always make this a priority to be out chasing the lights!

Creative Printing Workshop - Coming Soon

This workshop is focused on creating high impact Black & White images and colour images. We will look at various ways to use Lightroom, Photoshop and Google/Nik tools to convert and develop your images. Finally, we will look at optimising your images for different papers and the settings in Lightroom and Photoshop’s print module. We will have a professional printer on hand and everyone will be able to print numerous A3, panoramic and square format images to take away.
